The Mircom Group of Companies Acquires United Export ("UEC")

July 22, 2010 - The Mircom Group of Companies, is proud to announce that its international subsidiary has completed the acquisition of the business and operating assets of United Export, a distributor of a complete line of fire fighting and fire protection products. United Export will join the Mircom Group of Companies' international division led by Victor Sebben, Vice President of International Operations. Mircom is further pleased to advise that Daniel C. Pease is continuing in his capacity as Vice President, UEC as part of the acquisition.

Today, nearly 70 years later, UEC enjoys regular business activity from over 200 customers, in as many as 75 different countries.

From our early beginnings, our product offering consisted of monitors and nozzles for fighting fires. Today, we still sell these products, which are complemented by fire hoses, fire extinguishers, and fire hydrants. Nearly, all of which are either UL listed, FM approved, or both.
